Lots of people will enjoy a long weekend considering Independence Day falls on Tuesday this year! If you’re off for four or five days, you may be considering a trip to Kauai – what better way to enjoy a long holiday weekend? There’s plenty to do on our little island, and while you’re celebrating, be sure to leave time for one of our Kauai zipline tours!
So what’s going on? You won’t want to miss the big fireworks show, food and drink, music, and games on July 3rd at America’s Most West Freedom Fest at the Pacific Missile Range Facility, a free event with fireworks at 9 p.m.
Another great fireworks show that includes live music is scheduled in Lihue on the 4th with proceeds going to Kauai Hospice – great fun for the entire family!
Of course there’s plenty to do on the island in addition to fireworks, food, and music. Snorkel, browse the shops, enjoy great food at local restaurants, hike, take a helicopter tour, surf, take in the culture, or just lay on the beach. If it sounds like heaven, it truly is! So much to do, so little time…
The biggest adventure of all is ziplining in Kauai, where you’ll fly high above the ground and enjoy the surroundings from an entirely different viewpoint. A fun and exciting thrill ride you don’t want to miss, whether you choose our “quick” WikiWiki tour or go all out with our Zipline Eco-Adventure, for those who really love a challenge. Whatever else you do to celebrate the July 4th holiday, be sure to come see us at Just Live, the only treetop-based zipline adventure on the island!
