The new year is literally just days away, and some are probably envisioning a warm, relaxing location on the beach right about now. When the weather outside is frightful (and cold), it’s time to visit Kauai where you can soak up the sun in tropical surroundings. In January you’ll find you can save a bundle on a vacation to Hawaii compared to peak season – and there’s so much going on! One of the most exciting, fun things you can do in Kauai is experience a zipline adventure, but what else is going on? We’ve got the scoop.
If a dark comedy live stage play sounds like your cup of tea, you won’t want to miss the Kauai Community Players’ presentation of Arsenic & Old Lace in Lihue at the Puhi Theatrical Warehouse. The show runs from January 4 through the 20 Thursdays through Sundays.
Hanapepe Friday Night Festival & Art Walk happens every Friday evening in Old Town Hanapepe and is a fun festival for the whole family. Check out the classic cars, enjoy live music, shop the vendors, browse the art galleries, dine on mouth-watering fare at one of the exceptional restaurants. Local crafters will be there, along with stilt walkers and lots more!
Throughout the month you’ll find Hawaii slack key guitar concerts, hula shows, culinary and farmers markets, craft fairs, free live Hawaiian music with Hawaii’s music legend Larry Rivera, and tons more. There’s never a dull moment in Kauai if you’re looking for something to do.
Taking one of our zipline tours is the best way to start your new year off with a bang! Laugh, scream and have the time of your life as you zip through the treetops about 70 or 80 feet above the ground. Whether you have ever ridden a zipline in your life, this is an experience you don’t want to miss. Feel that adrenalin rush and know you’re ready to face the new year head-on!
January truly is a wonderful time to experience any of the Hawaiian islands, but we would love to see you in Kauai. Come by and see us at Just Live!
