Our Kauai zipline tour team knows that for those headed to the island for vacation, the weather is always a top concern. What will the temperatures be like, and will it rain? While you might envision perfect, cloudless, sunny days that never end, that isn’t realistic in many places on earth. Yes, it will probably rain at some point – but don’t let that spoil your fun!
Ziplining in Kauai goes on regardless of the weather unless it becomes dangerous, such as in the case of a severe thunderstorm. Soaring along a zipline is tremendous fun, even in the rain! For some, adding a few raindrops to the mix makes it an adventure that’s even more exciting. So really, what should you expect with the weather when you head to Kauai?
High temperatures during the fall months usually range between the mid to upper 70s, while lows at night drop to around 60 degrees or so. Perfect! And what about the rain? December through March is the wettest time of the year, but it’s important to keep in mind that most of the rain showers occur at night. That said, don’t be surprised to find yourself under a little shower during the daytime hours and if you do, it probably won’t last more than a few minutes.
Our zipline tours are located in Lihue on the island’s east side, which is great news if you want to zipline in an area that isn’t too rainy. The north shore gets the most rain of all, and the west side the least. The mountains are where you will find the most rain, but we are happy to say it doesn’t bother most people at all. Without it, Kauai probably wouldn’t be known as the ‘Garden Isle’ for all of its lush, tropical beauty!
Fall, winter, spring, summer, the season really doesn’t matter. It’s always a good time to head for Kauai on vacation, and to take in the fun and excitement of one of our amazing zipline tours! We hope to see you soon, be sure to book your Kauai zipline adventure online right now or you’re likely to be disappointed.
