Whether you’re newlyweds setting out for your honeymoon or you plan to tie the knot in Kauai, there are no shortages of romantic spots you’ll want to visit! Of course you’ll want to take one of our Kauai zipline tours on a day when you’re ready for some fun and exciting action, but where are those special places that will have your heart fluttering? We’ve got a few to share with you below.
The Hanalei Pier in the hamlet of Hanalei is where you’ll enjoy the Na Pali Coast and its amazing ridges along with awesome panoramic views of the Hanalei Bay. The pier was originally built in 1892 and replaced with concrete in 1922; if you’ve ever seen the old movie South Pacific, the beach scenes were filmed right here! Take along some cheese, grapes and wine for a romantic experience you’ll cherish forever.
If you’re tying the knot or renewing your wedding vows, the Waioli Hui’ia Church in Hanalei oozes romance and charm. Built over 100 years ago, this beautiful church has a Mission Bell from 1843 and is American Gothic in style with its green shingles and stained-glass windows. You have to see it to get a feel for just how charming it is!
Along the Eastern shore between Lihue and Kapa’a is where you’ll find the Coconut Coast, an awesome spot if you love a gorgeous early morning sunrise that will take your breath. Between the palm trees and spectacular colors of the ocean and sky, it’s the perfect place for couples to snap some dramatic pics from your resort or condo, or enjoy an early morning walk. Super romantic!
Other romantic locales in Kauai include the Kilauea Lighthouse and Limahuli Garden & Preserve on the North shore, Poipu Beach on the South shore, and of course the Na Pali coastline along the North and Northwest. More romance than you can fit into your schedule awaits.
Whether you are honeymooning, getting married or just enjoying a much-deserved vacation, be sure to make time for one of our adrenalin-pumping Kauai zipline tours!
