Recently it was announced that Vegas will be opening its first zipline facility on the Las Vegas Strip at the Linq Promenade shopping center, named the Fly Linq. According to a statement from the company, the zipline attraction will feature 10 side-by-side ziplines allowing those who want to enjoy the experience to travel more than 1,100 feet through the shopping center after launching from a 122 high foot tower.
Owned by Caesars Entertainment Corporation, guests of the Linq Promenade will enjoy awesome views of the Strip while ascending to the launch tower via elevator where they can choose between a seated or “superman” position. News reports claim the zipline tour will travel at nearly 1100 feet above The Linq Promenade before disembarking near the base of the High Roller.
Those interested in soaring over the Las Vegas Strip can buy tickets now for the November opening, with day ticket prices beginning at $20 per person when purchased online. According to an article at the LA Times, guests will enjoy traveling at about 35 mph during the ride which takes about 35 seconds according to VP and general manager Shaun Swanger.
