There’s nothing like visiting Hawaii any time of year, but if you are thinking about a vacation on the “garden isle” you may want to consider September – especially if you prefer a quieter, more peaceful vacation. Of course you can take one of our Kauai zipline tours any time of year, rain or shine! September is nearly upon us, so we will share why we think this is the perfect time to visit our beautiful, lush paradise.
September is the time of year when temperatures become a bit milder, but it isn’t quite into the rainiest season yet. You should still expect to see a little rainfall at some point; after all, that’s why our island is the most lush of all of the Hawaiian islands and offers countless waterfalls to enjoy! By mid September school is back in full swing in most of the country, so it’s less crowded.
You may be curious as to whether the water will still be warm at this time of the year, especially if you plan to surf, snorkel, swim, or enjoy other water activities. No matter what time of year it is, the water tends to stay around 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit, perfect for most people.
The week-long Kauai Mokihana Festival is celebrated in September, and includes hula competitions, a flowerless lei contest, cultural presentations, music contests and more. No matter what time of year you visit, there are festivals and events that happen regularly such as The Tasting Kauai Food Tour, Farmer’s Market, and the Hanapepe Friday Night Festival & Art Walk.
Our Kauai zipline tours are located in Lihue, where many visitors choose to stay because of the town’s close proximity to the airport, easier access for traveling to various locations on the island, and more affordable accommodations.
Are you ready to enjoy a more laid-back, relaxing vacation in Kauai? September is a great time to visit; be sure to come see us at Just Live! – and book your zipline adventure weeks in advance to be sure you don’t miss out on all the fun and excitement.
