Naturally you’ll want to take one of our Kauai zipline tours when you’re vacationing in Kauai; after all, it’s the most exciting adventure you’ll find! That said, we know there are countless things you’ll want to do and explore, and sometimes figuring out where to start is hard – especially if you’re not familiar with the island. Hopefully some of the suggestions below will help.
Hanalei Bay, a great place to chill. Two miles long with four beaches and spectacular mountain peaks as the backdrop, Hanalei Bay is where you can swim or sail during summer months, or enjoy a barbecue or simply soaking up the sun.
If a secluded sanctuary sounds perfect, consider Kauapea Beach, the “secret beach” where you can check out beautiful waterfalls and magnificent red and black rock cliffs if you’re willing to travel down a fairly steep trail. Located near the Kilauea Lighthouse, find your tranquility.
If tubing sounds like a blast, you won’t want to miss a tour to the old Lihue Plantation where you’ll encounter tunnels, flumes and canals before reaching a beautiful swimming hole. Much like Gilligan’s Island, reaching the hand-built tubing area requires a three hour tour!
Is hiking your passion? If so, you’ll want to put a day hike to Hanakapiai Falls on your list of things to do. There’s also a full hike if you’re really up for a challenge, but be warned – it isn’t easy!
Of course there are more entertainment, shopping, dining and cultural activities than you can count, so there’s plenty to do for every member of the family. Speaking of the entire family, ziplining in Kauai will be one of your most fun, exciting and memorable experiences!
