Why is that, and what’s the difference between our zipline facility and any other? Aren’t they all pretty much the same? The majority of zipline companies offer courses that begin on the ground and end on the ground. With ours, participants climb a big tower and begin their adventure soaring on a zipline that’s located high off the ground. During the course riders zipline from one wooden platform to another at times, some as high as 70 feet in the air. That’s a lot more exciting than a ground-based zipline!
Suspension or “canopy” bridges are another element of our zipline tours that people enjoy. Crafted of wood, ropes and other materials, traveling from one platform to another on these bridges is a fun addition to the whole experience. Our platforms are built high in the treetops, which is why we are known as Kauai’s only ‘treetop’ zipline adventures.
Basically, once you leave the ground to climb into the tower where it all starts, you’ll stay in the air among the trees until the end. With seven zipline runs, aerial viewing platforms and four canopy bridges, the excitement and fun from 60 to 85 feet above the ground will last for hours. For thrill seekers, it’s often being so high off the ground and that little hint of fear in the back of the mind that makes it so much fun.
