Whether you’re visiting Kauai while on vacation or live on the island, and you’re wondering what to do in Kauai during the late summer months…. you’ll never run out of ideas! At Just Live!, of course we believe the most exciting, adventurous thing you can do is to take one of our amazing zipline tours. However, there is lots to do throughout late July and August, so if you’re going to be around during that time, we have a few ideas.
Coming up on July 24 and 25 is Hanapepe Art Night, Waipa Community Workday, and the Hanalei Bay Swim Challenge. Explore amazing art and meet local artists while enjoying music, enter the swimming races for a fun time and possible medal/special ribbons for the children, and more! On July 27th golf enthusiasts will want to join in or attend the annual summer golf tournament sponsored by the YWCA at Kauai Lagoons from 7:30 in the morning through 2 p.m. Proceeds benefit the YWCA, an organization that works to build awareness of and end violence against women and children.
So, what’s up for August? Lots of stuff on the 1st, when you can attend the Ohana Fit Fest at Wai’oli Beach park, the 14th Annual Heiva I Kauai Iorana Tahiti Cultural Festival, the 10th Anniversary Paradise Ride Kauai (bike ride benefit), or Moonlight & Music in the Garden. As you can see, no shortage of fun events to keep you busy – and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. If you intend to be around on August 29, you won’t want to miss the Kauai Island Crafters Fair, where attendance is free and you can find everything from sunrise shell jewelry & bone jewelry to Hawaiian quilts, carved hardwood tikis and other unique gifts for yourself or others, crafted by local artisans.
Of course any day is a great day to bring a group of friends or family and participate in one of our Kauai zipline tours! Extreme fun and heart-pounding excitement cannot even begin to describe the time you will have as you fly through the air and experience Kauai from high above the trees. Come join us at Just Live!, and truly have the time of your life.
