We all look forward to spring and summer, regardless of where we live. Tens of thousands of people vacation in Hawaii during the spring and summer months, although we see lots of people visiting year-round. While our Kauai zipline adventures aren’t limited to the spring season, there are lots of exciting and fun things to do if you’re visiting the island in April. Flowers and paradise-like surroundings abound, but what else can you expect if you’re vacationing during the “April Fools” holiday month? Here you go!
From the free March for Babies Kauai 2019 at Lydgate Park Main Pavilion in Lihue to the Pacific Harp Project with Noel Okamoto at the KCC Performing Arts Center, there are so many things to experience on our wonderful island. Every day is special considering the beaches, water activities, adventures, shopping, food, culture and everything you anticipate experiencing when you visit Hawaii.
There are tons of events and island happenings that go on every week or monthly in Kauai in April. Many who visit the island are interested in learning how to hula dance, make leis, or other experiences unique to our state. Free hula at Coconut Marketplace happens on April 3rd, and you will find the Tasting Kauai food tours not only delicious, but lots of fun. Farmers’ markets abound, where you’ll find fresh local produce, fruit, flowers and more.
You won’t want to miss the regular Friday night event in our “biggest” small town, Hanapepe. If you’re here on a Friday evening, be sure to attend the Hanapepe Friday Night Festival and Art Walk! Lots of delicious food, live music, shopping, classic cars, a wonderful evening for folks of all ages.
No matter when you visit our beautiful island you’ll find there’s more to see, experience and do than you could pack into your stay. Regardless of what else you put on your list, be sure to experience one of our Kauai zipline tours!
