It’s mid-October, and many of the states in the U.S. are experiencing cooler weather. Soon it will be Halloween, and temperatures will continue to plummet as the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays approach. If you’re headed our way soon, you will want to be sure to put ziplining in Kauai on your list of things to do – but there are other reasons you may want to plan a getaway over the holidays!
Sure, cold temperatures, frost, and even snowfall is refreshing and fun for a while. But for many people, it gets old quick. Stoking the fire, putting on countless layers of clothing, having to get out in unpleasant weather conditions to run errands – the list goes on and on. Many people also have SAD (seasonal affective disorder) or other types of depression that seems to get worse during dark, cloudy winter months. You love the fall and winter season for a while, and then you’re ready for spring which won’t come for several more months. What to do?
Head to Kauai, of course. Imagine warm temperatures, sunshine, spending time with family while you enjoy luaus, kalua pig, and wonderful Hawaiian music. Blue skies, beaches, the clear sparkling waters of the ocean; sounds amazing, doesn’t it? Hawaii is truly the best medicine for what ails you! The energy and aloha spirit here is something you cannot imagine, and there is no possible way you can feel sad, blue, depressed, or anything other than happy and alive.
Relax on the beach, go kayaking, take a hike in the lush foliage that makes our island the ‘Garden Isle,’ camp, shop, enjoy wonderful local food, explore the island and culture . . . it’s impossible to list all there is to enjoy and experience. If you do decide it’s a perfect way to spend a week or two away from the cold winter weather, be sure to book one of our Kauai zipline adventures online to ensure your spot on the list!
